“Social Distancing” — Signed Prints on Paper
Art with an Impact

I started the “Social Distancing” series as a way to stay connected to the outside world during the Covid-19 shelter-in-place. The subjects are mostly people I know or have seen in my few trips out into the world, or images that have been shared by friends—like that of one friend’s daughter focusing intently on her ballet lesson from home. I will show all the original paintings together once in-person art exhibits are allowed and we can convene again in person to enjoy them. Until then, I decided to turn the project into a fundraiser for people in the Bay Area experiencing food insecurity and kids in underserved communities by making and selling prints and cards of the images with 100% of the profits going to the groups described below.
